  • Electrical Service Technician

    New England Crane in Lewiston is looking for an experienced Overhead Crane and Hoist Technician to wire, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electric overhead traveling bridge cranes and hoists. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, highly motivated and must have strong customer service skills. Knowledge on wireless radio’s, controls, and variable frequency drives (VFD’s) is required. Licensed electrician with mechanical background is preferred. Candidate must be capable of heavy lifting and working at heights. Candidate must be computer literate and able to use a cell phone or tablet for inspection recording. The position will require some travel with overnights, mostly within the state of Maine and home for weekends. Take home company service truck will be provided for experienced technicians. Benefits include health and disability insurance, 401k with employer match, three weeks paid time off, ten paid holidays, and overtime available. Certain candidates may be approved for a relocation reimbursement.


  • Mechanical Service Technician

    New England Crane in Lewiston is looking for a mechanical technician to work in the overhead crane/hoist industry. Experience with gearboxes, alignment and couplings is preferred. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus but willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, highly motivated and must have strong customer service skills. Duties include, but are not limited to, crane inspections, layout, installations, rigging, modernizations and service work. Candidate must be capable of heavy lifting and working at heights. Candidate must be computer literate and able to use a cell phone or tablet for inspection recording. The position will require some travel with overnights, mostly within the state of Maine and home for weekends. Forty-hour (plus) work week.
